One product, one shop: coconut water, never heated
1of1 Coconut from Frankfurt sells exactly one product: coconut water from young coconuts, never heated, delivered frozen. The shop tells the story behind it, from the harvest in Malaysia to the natural pink colour, and turns three pack sizes into a simple choice.
The challenge
1of1 means exactly one. No flavours, no blends, no range: one coconut water from young green coconuts from Malaysia, preserved by high-pressure processing instead of heat, shipped via Hamburg to Germany in an unbroken cold chain, with a shelf life of up to twelve months at −18 °C. A product like this does not need a catalogue; it needs a story. The first shop had been built as an Elementor prototype: part of the logic sat in the layout instead of the shop system, and every change to price or shipping meant editing the design.
What we built
A custom WooCommerce theme takes visitors through the product section by section: what sets it apart from anything on the shelf, keeping a supply in the freezer, its long journey and why it is never heated, the natural pink colour from polyphenols, storage and serving, and finally the three pack sizes of 12, 24 or 48 bottles. Alongside it, a plugin contains only the business logic: prices, stock, tax, shipping and vouchers come from WooCommerce, Germanized provides the mandatory information for the German market, and WooPayments is set up ready for launch. Until then, the staging environment blocks orders on the server side.
